The culmination of the front 9 brings this dog leg left par 5 and an introduction to the heather of the moorland section of the course. From the tree lined tee the line is straight for the fairway bunker on the far side of the dogleg, however only the long hitters need to be wary of reaching it. Be careful of the trees to the left which often come in to play and hide a small but well placed water hazard. For those with the distance a long iron or fairway wood makes the green reachable in 2 but for the rest a solid shot up the middle will leave a short pitch into the large green. Anything wayward into the heather will soon add shots to your score!
